Dennis Edney Speaking Engagement

On Tuesday, March 13, Dennis Edney will be be presenting The Rule of Law: 10 Years After 9/11 at 12:30 on campus. Edney is the defense attorney of Omar Khadr, who has been detained in Guantanamo Bay since the age of 15. Edney is the recipient of numerous human rights awards and has lectured extensively at universities and conferences throughout North America and Europe. Don't miss this event!

Argentinian Dirty War Documentary Viewing

On Tuesday, February 21, at 5:00PM, the Students for Law and Global Justice will be showing Las Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo and the Search for Identity in room K100.

The film documents the story of the grandmothers in their search for their missing grandchildren, lost in the Argentinian Dirty War from 1976 to 1983.

Attorney Joseph Margulies, lead counsel in Rasul v. Bush, attorney of the Roderick MacArthur Justice Center and Clinical Professor of Law at Northwestern University Law School in Chicago will be speaking at USF Law Campus on Thursday, February 16 at 5:30 PM. -You must have studied abroad in the Spring, Summer or Fall of 2011
-Photos must be taken by you during your study abroad
-No photoshop! Only minor adjustments, such as cropping
